Your mission should you choose to accept it:
Propel and manoeuvre your raft with a paddle through the whitewater river rapids. Sounds simple right? Maybe not… There are many different classes of rapids you can experience, each providing a varying level of difficulty. The classes start at 1 which are the easiest and most recommended for beginners and escalates to class 6 which is known as extreme and exploratory rapids. These we recommend only for the insane! Or highly experienced.
During your white water rafting experience, you are expected to paddle to help get your raft downstream but lucky for you, you will have a whitewater rafting guide in your raft to show you the proper strokes and help if for some reason you get into any danger.
Whether you choose to take on the rapids on the Zambezi River in Zimbabwe, Fish River Canyon in Namibia, Doring River in South Africa, White Nile in Uganda, Rufiji River in Tanzania or the Mangoky River in Madagascar you will not be disappointed by the pounding water pushing your raft down the river. Always remember! Pack a towel with a spare change of dry clothes and shoes. You will get wet! Don’t forget the sun cream!
