“Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by Angels in their flight”
famously quoted by David Livingston when he first set eyes on the Victoria Falls. We agree! And you will too once you set your eyes upon the breathtaking waterfall that is truly one of the greatest natural wonders of the World.
As the vast curtain of falling water rumbles down the 100m crevice, crashing into the gorge below and producing a haze of mist which truly brings the rainforest to life, it provides the perfect experience for adventurers, nature lovers, and family alike.
As you stroll through the rainforest with or without your poncho, you will stop at the various vantage points all of which give you a different perspective of the majestic falls. The Victoria Falls are 1700m wide and are made up of five different ‘falls’ which are known as The Devil’s Cataract, Main Falls, Rainbow Falls, Horseshoe Falls and the Eastern Cataract. You can appreciate each of these falls during your time in the rainforest. Throughout your stroll, you will also witness some incredible vegetation famous to the Zambezi region as well as some wildlife which calls the area home.
