It’s a bird… It’s a plane… It’s a microlight…
Glide through the African sky’s whilst experiencing the wind rushing past your face as you relish the 360-degree panoramic views in this open lightweight aircraft.
A microlight is a fixed-wing aircraft with a big motorized fan on the back which can carry up to 2 people. It truly allows you to have a bird’s-eye view of the African landscape, waterways or wildlife down below. You can experience a close encounter with the smoky thunders of the Victoria Falls, the beautiful dolphin coast in Durban or the Rift Valley in Kenya just to name a few.
Typically, you can expect the flying time to be about 15-30mins before you head back to the landing strip. Don’t freak out if your pilot cuts the engine’s power, your stomach will more than likely jump into your throat although you’ll then start to feel the glide as if you were flying like a bird before you hear the roar of the engine taking you back down to earth.
