…this one is for you! It’s time to lace up those hiking boots and start the trek of 1086 meters above Cape Town to the summit of Table Mountain.

As you begin to climb the steep steps on the contour path you think to yourself OK this can be done, then half way up you start to break a sweat, your quads start to make their presence known and you can’t help but look up, and see the sheer rock face and think, will I ever make it? But you do, and you are presented with incredible views of Lion’s Head, Robben Island, and the Mother City. You take a moment to appreciate the views sipping on water and enjoying an energy bar for the next challenge. As you reach the summit of Table Mountain you are absolutely mesmerised by the breath-taking views with a fitting moment to exclaim: “I’m the King of the World!”

No trip to Cape Town is complete without the stunning city views from Table Mountain. If you don’t have the time or desire to climb Table Mountain, a quick 5 minute ride up the cable car is all you need to experience this famous landmark. In favourable weather, you will have 360-degree views of South Africa’s famous coastal city, making it a unique vantage point that takes the breath away.

    “In the past two weeks, I've learned that you can't truly even begin to understand life when you're only focused on the human aspect of the world. A week spent in the bush connected me to nature in a way I never imagined. It forced me to understand an ecosystem far detached from my comfort zone, and the social constructs of different species that are so similar, yet so different from the human condition. Tracking wild animals on a safari is so much more than a physical pursuit. To track, you need to be present, take clues from your surroundings and venture off into the unknown.
